The RBI's hold released the rate-sensitive trade and 2,638 NSE names closed up — Nifty still finished +0.04%. Now the gap is fading too: GIFT is −0.39% and giving back its premium into the open.
The line held where it counts: 24,600 was lost intraday but reclaimed by the close, 24,624.65, for the second session running. The red branch was the one that fired — the gap was sold from 24,669.20 straight down and its first target, 24,550 max pain, traded on a 24,497.95 low. But the note's hero leaned green, at a gap carrying through the lid, and that never happened: the high stopped at 24,677.60, more than 120 points under green's 24,800. The deep targets on both sides — 24,427.95, 24,310, 24,920 — were never approached. Containment was clean: the whole day sat inside the 24,310–24,920 priced band.
